Product Design Manager of Revenue

I joined this automotive technology company to lead the design practice during a time of significant restructuring. I have overseen strategic discipline planning, built stakeholder relationships, and supported my team of Research, UX and UI designers as the organization has gone through a restructure of their XD and Product departments. My design practice plan centers around individual and discipline OKRs that ladder up to the new strategic vision for the company as they rebuild, focusing on delivering high quality work, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and pursuing evidence-based innovation.

I balanced strategic design work with team oversight in this senior leadership position, notably leading the State Education product design team to modernize the UI & UX of their nutrition product, and contributing to numerous new business proposals. Additionally, as I led the hiring, staffing and growth of our team of remote designers and was involved in the creation of a research team.

During my short term contract at Jaguar Games I established myself as an inclusive design leader and strong user advocate. Overseeing experience strategy, user research and UI/UX design for their first video game, my focus was on demonstrating the value of human-centered game design to stakeholders.

Lead Product Designer

I had the opportunity in this management position to hone my skills in experience strategy and design thinking, leading cross-discipline teams to collaboratively and creatively solve problems. Key projects included leading a design team to re-imagine the Villas of Distinction and Jamaica Villas websites, which included overseeing the creation of their design system, and collaborating with data and tech to establish a strategic digital roadmap that would significantly improve the booking experience for trips.

Lead UX Designer

Being apart of the digital marketing team allowed me to apply my strategic perspective to design, leading UX on numerous projects. Projects included leading a four person UX team to redesign Check Into Cash member experience, developing detailed wire frames and prototypes as a product designer for new digital offerings,  and playing a lead role in the redesign of the call center's intranet app and site.

During my stint in digital marketing I found my niche by advocating for content driven search strategy, refining clients' digital properties to increase value, traffic and conversions while maximizing technical health to enhance user experience and accessibility. Key projects included analyzing internal and external search behavior to develop the content strategy for clients, and determining the SEO strategies based on an extensive content and technical audits.
